Durga Pujo is the best time to spread cheer and bonhomie, a gala affair Kolkatans wait for, with bated breath every year. In keeping with this, The Times of India has been sharing this spirit and revelry for years now by organizing the most popular pujo competition in the city Times Sharad Shrestha. It is a competition for the best ‘Baroari’or theme based locality pujas in the city, serving as an engagement activity with lacs and lacs of Kolkatans during the most awaited and biggest festival of Bengal.

This is a platform to create an engagement and visibility across city Baroari Pujas.

• Other than the pujos of apartment buildings and housing societies, this competition is open to all other pujo committees of Kolkata and Salt Lake • Entries that are complete in all respects, shall be eligible for the competition • The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard • The prize money is subject to tax deduction at the source • Please send us a photocopy of a cancelled cheque along with the participation form and route map • All eligible participants must allow all the branding collaterals of the 'Times Sharad Shrestha 2024' to be visible at the pujo premises.
