Kolkatans indulge in major preparations for the Durga Puja in their apartments. It is a tradition here to put up one’s best in showcasing the puja pandals and overall puja presentation. In keeping with this, The Times of India has been sharing this spirit and revelry for years now since year 2001 with Times Pujo Barir Sera Pujo, a competition based event where the best “Bari” or residential Puja is judged and rewarded by eminent celebrities along with creating engagement and visibility across residential pujas housing complexes in Kolkata.

• Only apartments/ housing societies based in Kolkata and Salt Lake are eligible to participate in this competition • Only a fully filled-up form will be considered eligible • Details of the cultural programmes planned need to be submitted along with the form • The decision of the jury will be final and no objections will be entertained • An amount will be deducted from the prize money as per the Income Tax Art • Please send us a photocopy of a cancelled cheque along with the participation form and route map • Each participating housing complex needs to display all the branding collaterals of the 'Times Pujo Barir Sera Pujo 2024' in a visible space and the cultural programme details on a graffiti board, when the judges visit them.
